My name is Leanne Buschmeier, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC.  I have been a registered nurse for 8 years and 7 of those years have been in pediatrics. Prior to my pediatrics work, I worked at the Veteran's Hospital and served in the United State Coast Guard. I served for 5 years as a corpsman.

I have been an advanced practice provider for over a year and love it.  I have taught for four years as an adjunct faculty member through Cincinnati Children's Hospital.  

Education background: I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice this fall from Duke University.  I have my Post-master's Certification from Duke University as well.  My Master's in Nursing is from Xavier University and my associate degree is from Good Samaritan College of Nursing.  I have an additional bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine from American Military University. 

I am a mother of three, a wife of 15 years, and a veteran.  I love to run, play board games and be with family. I love to teach, and I am excited to teach the next generation of master's prepared nurses.
