Grab and Go
For students facing challenges in accessing essential items, Rio’s Grab and Go is here to help. We provide free support to students experiencing food insecurity. We offer a variety of resources, including food pantry items, personal hygiene products, and professional clothing.
The food pantry is specifically designed to support students in need or those who may have missed a meal due to scheduling conflicts. All products, including pantry items, clothing, and hygiene supplies, are generously donated by members of the community.
Additionally, through our Dress for Success Program, students can receive free professional attire for job interviews, presentations, or internships, ensuring you’re prepared for success.
For students needing a quiet space to unwind, our Mediation Room offers a peaceful environment to relax and de-stress.
Rio’s Grab and Go is dedicated to ensuring all students have the essentials they need to thrive academically and personally.
Students are asked to anonymously check-in using the QR code. This is to help us track the number of times the services are used, and no names are ever collected. Just simply put in your ID and the dorm you live in. If you are a commuter, your ID and state, commuter.
If you’re interested in donating, contact Amy Weaver at 740-245-7350 or aweaver@rio.edu.
Rio’s Grab and Go is located in the James A. Rhodes Student Center, room 223 and is open Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.
