Education Accreditation
The University of Rio Grande is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). The Teacher Education unit has been approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
The Bunce School of Education at the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation and advanced educator preparation programs. CAEP is recognized by the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit preparation programs for teachers and other school personnel.
