This summer, University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College is offering an opportunity for students to get ahead in their education, explore new subjects, and stay on track for graduation with a diverse range of summer courses.
Whether you're a current Rio student, a student from another institution, a high school graduate preparing for college, or a working professional looking to enhance your skills, summer classes at Rio provide a flexible and affordable way to reach your academic goals.
With courses available in-person at all five Rio locations, online, and in hybrid formats, students can fit their studies into their summer schedules with ease.
“The accelerated summer term allows students to earn credits in a shorter timeframe, helping them lighten their course load for the upcoming semester or even graduate early,” said Kristie French, Director of Admissions at Rio. “With small class sizes and dedicated faculty, we provide the resources and support students need to succeed.”
Students can choose from a variety of subjects, including general education courses, career-focused programs, and transfer-friendly classes that meet requirements for four-year colleges and universities. Enrollment is open now, and financial aid and scholarship opportunities are available to those who qualify.
Registration deadlines are approaching, and courses are filling up fast, so interested students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. For more information about available courses visit rio.edu/summer or contact the admissions office at 740-245-7208 or admissions@rio.edu.
